Makeover Monday

So today could really be called "Messy Monday!"  Below you will find the before picture of Baby Girl's room.  It is a TOTAL DISASTER in these pictures.  While her room is no where near complete, we have made a lot of progress toward making this room fit for our precious girl.  I wouldn't even call it a disaster anymore!  You will have to wait a little bit before you get to see updates on the progress in her room, but for now you can see her room and imagine the possibilitites!

  As we have bought things, received things as gifts, or moved around other things in the house, Baby Girl's room has been the catch-all room!

Some Fun Things

Now that we have our referral and have seen our little girl's face, we are starting to gather some of the things that we will need for our baby girl.  The room where she will be is an absolute disaster, but we are working on it, and I will share more about that later!

So for now, we are the proud owners of a crib and a stroller.  Good start, right?  The most FUN thing for me that we have gotten since our referral is fabric for Baby Girl's room.  That's right...I've decided to make most of the bedding and fabric things for the room.  I spent time looking at bedding and I didn't love it, it can be expensive, and the bedding sets include several things that we don't need.  I also think that making a crib skirt, curtains, and cushions for our old rocker will be a really special way to spend some of the time waiting to bring our little one home.
